Process and Care

PROCESS

Due to the handmade process (mixing and condition of raw clay, hand rolling, cutting, baking, sanding, buffing, assembling) of each earring, no two earrings are the exact same. From start to finish one earring can take up to 3-4 hours (accounting for baking) hence the driving force behind being “small-batch”. Please note that there may be slight variations in color placement and shape from what is shown in the picture - which truly makes them such a special piece.

CARE

Polymer clay - when given the right care - is a material that can last like any fine jewelry. Store in a clean, dry and cool place. Avoid using creams, perfumes or oils near the clay pieces as it can affect its longevity. If you happen to get makeup on your pieces (not a problem), rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover should do the trick, otherwise a gentle clean with a slightly damp soft cloth should work fine with other stains. Brass may tarnish overtime but a gentle rub with a soft (can use microfibre) cloth will help revive your piece.
